Michael Myers is back this October in a terrifying Halloween reboot that disregards all of the previous sequels and only acknowledges the original film from 1978. Even Halloween II, which was great, is being treated as “urban legends” and for 40 years, Myers has just been in a mental institution.
Jamie Lee Curtis is back as Laurie Strode and it will be directed by Killer Joe producer David Gordon Green. He also directed the TV series Vice Principals and is set to direct the Friday Night Lights remake.
You might say, “Hasn’t Halloween been done to death?” Yes, but Michael Myers is fantastic horror movie character with a creepy mask.
Perhaps you’ll reply with, “Didn’t Rob Zombie do this thing?” Look, Zombie is terrible. This looks to actually be good.
Alright, just watch the trailer and share your thoughts @Dirtfork.
