For eight seasons, Seattle Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor morphed into one of the best at his position, helping lead a historic defense to back-to-back Super Bowl appearances. A former fifth round pick from Virginia Tech, Chancellor exceeded media expectations but then, in an instant, his career was over, thanks to a neck injury he sustained in November 2017 against the Arizona Cardinals. He was 29-years-old and had just recently signed a three-year contract extension but it was now time for the four-time Pro Bowler to contemplate the next chapter of his story.
While Chancellor hasn’t officially retired from the National Football League, it’s a done deal, but that means he gets to spend more time with his newborn son and his wife, Tiffany. The two have been busy recently, not just creating a family but launching a shoe collection in conjunction with Marc Nolan, a Chicago shoe company. Working with the company’s founder, Sebastian Malczewski, on shoes for men and women, the footwear can be purchased in both Chicago and Seattle and on Marc Nolan’s website. Available in five different varieties for men and two for women, the shoes retail for $115 and can match whatever mood you’re in, whether it’s casual linen chinos or a more dressier occasion.
The Chancellor Collection is not the couple’s first venture into the shoe industry, having created some smaller lines in the past, though already this new collection seems to be the most popular. As you would imagine, Washington has been the top state driving website traffic as Seahawk fans want to see what one of their favorite ex-players is up to, with Illinois second on the list. More importantly, total sales are up 30 percent, with online sales up almost 420 percent.
It shouldn’t be surprising that the Chancellor’s have an eye for fashion.
Tiffany has been a model since the age of three and the two often appear at New York Fashion Week, as well as annually attending some of fashion’s biggest events, such as Milan and Paris Fashion Week. Despite an unfortunate ending to an already outstanding NFL career, it appears as though Chancellor has transitioned perfectly into his new career, which can be difficult – a career he’s able to grow and cultivate with his wife.
